Vexilar’s Pro-Rated, 12 volt Battery Warranty
The battery warranty is covered under a pro-rated performance guarantee. Failure to properly care for battery is not the responsibility of Vexilar. Here are the details of the battery coverage from Date of Purchase (Proof of purchase will be required):

Less than 30 days from purchase date – Full replacement.
Less than six months and greater than 30 days – $12.00 plus $10.00 shipping.
Greater than six months and less than one year – $20.00 plus $10.00 shipping.
Over one year and less than two years – $25.00 plus $10 shipping.
Over two years – No warranty – New purchase price $39.95 plus $10.00 shipping.

Vexilar Two-Year Extended Limited Warranty
The Vexilar Extended Warranty is not only the best in the Marine Industry, but also an exceptional value. Your new Vexilar has a full two-year limited warranty against defects or malfunctions in material, workmanship, or against failure to conform to the product’s written specifications. (See specifics in your Vexilar owner’s manual.)

Extended Warranty
Now you have the opportunity to extend the warranty protection of your Vexilar unit from the time of purchase by an additional two years—for a total of FOUR YEARS of protection. Models FL-8se, FL-12, FL-18, FL-20 & FLX-28 are eligible for this program. This Two-year Extended Warranty must be purchased within twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase for $39.95. (Please note, your two years of extended Limited Warranty coverage will take effect after the original factory warranty expires. This will give you a total of four years of limited coverage based on the original purchase date of the unit.)

How To Apply
If you decide to participate in the extended warranty program anytime within twelve (12) months after the original purchase date of the unit, you must buy it directly from Vexilar, Inc. for $39.95. To qualify, follow the instructions on the opposite page. When mailing your registration, please fill out the information on the extended warranty application completely. The serial number of the unit is located on the back of the head assembly. Vexilar will send you a notice via mail confirming your extended warranty is valid and activated within 6 to 8 weeks. The reply from Vexilar will clearly state when your extended warranty period expires. If you do not get a confirmation notice within this time, please contact Vexilar customer service immediately as no extended warranty service on your unit will be done if you did not apply properly. Be sure to keep copies of all receipts for your own records. Extended Warranty Coverage
The Extended Warranty gives you two extra years on the “head” assembly for model FL-8se, FL-12, FL-18, FL-20 and FLX-28 units. SonarPhone Systems Warranty

The Sonarphone warranty is one year against factory defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase. During the Warranty period Vexilar will repair or replace your SonarPhone at no cost to you for labor, materials or return shipping costs, but Vexilar WILL NOT pay for warranty items to be shipped to their factory for evaluation. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident or misuse, or as a result of service or modification of goods by anyone other than the factory. If a replacement is given, the original warranty period shall resume from date of first purchase.

T-POD No Hassle Service/Warranty Program

Your SonarPhone T-Pod has a one year warranty from date of purchase, but we know fishing can be hard on equipment. So if you damage your T-POD (and this is NOT covered by your warranty), you can have it replaced for roughly half of the original cost. This option also extends beyond the standard warranty period. So if five years from now the battery fails, Vexilar’s No Hassle Service Program for SonarPhone T-POD owners will be there for you for as long as you own the product! This offer DOES NOT extend to the Sonarphone T-BOX systems – Sorry.

Here’s how it works: Send us your damaged or destroyed SonarPhone T-POD along with $60.00 US, and we will send you back a replacement T-POD! No questions asked. This cost includes domestic return shipping. Some additional shipping may apply for customers outside the USA. Credit card payment is also accepted by phone. (Visa and Master Card only). Note the replacement DOES NOT include charging cables, Adaptors, Neoprene armband or any other special offers. It is the T-POD only that will be replaced, part #SP100A.
