Pete Schoetz started his full-time professional bass fishing career in the summer of 1991 fishing the BFL League in Florida. After working for a guide service on Lake Okeechobee for 5 years he decided to move to Texas and begin fishing national bass tournaments. Since then, he has competed in bass tournaments in virtually every type of fishery ranging all over the U.S. Since starting his career in bass fishing he has started not just one guide service but two, one in Wisconsin and the other in Texas. His diverse fishing background has made him one of the most sought after guides in Wis. and Texas. One of his many sponsors is Vexilar because as Pete puts it "I was born a flasher guy I will die a flasher guy". He believes in the products Vexilar provides him and uses them daily. Fishing an average of 250 days a year between Texas and Wisconsin waters. Pete is also a major spokesman for all his other sponsors. Doing speaking engagements from California to New York. As if he doesn't have enough to do he also sells Ranger boats for Heckels Marine when in the Northern Wisconsin area for the summers.

Pete is single and in the little free time he has enjoys hunting and snow skiing.
