St Albans, VT
Bill Spence is a well known and accomplished angler specializing on Lake
Champlain. His fishing strenth is his diversity and consistency. From
blade baits for April smallies to pitching for largemouth in the heat of
summer to burning spinnerbaits for late fall bronzebacks, Bill can do it
all. He is probably best known for his strength with the dropshot rig
but enjoys all types of fishing and can get them in the boat any way it
takes.
Career highlights include a victory on his home lake as a co-angler with
the BASS Elite Series in 2006, a Stren Series Top 10 in 2005, an FLW
Series Top 10 in 2007, and numerous wins and Top 10 finishes in all
levels of tournaments.
Bill is married with three kids and works as an air traffic controller
in Burlington, VT. In his spare time away from fishing and family, he
skis and organizes a charity bass tournament held in August each year.
For a chance at a trophy smallmouth, Bill is starting a guide service
for 2008.
Bill is an expert fisherman in his field and region. He'd be happy to help if you have any questions about using Vexilar products within his area of expertise.
